ABOUT ICONICA EDITIONS
ICONICA EDITIONS is a growing collection of iconic design images, curated and photographed by the artist Giles Revell.
Each design icon has its own story of conception and production to becoming a pictorial shorthand for their respective eras within popular culture.
Anonymous everyday designs made famous by their simplicity, mechanical genius, and enduring functional beauty sit side by side with other classic designs, more seductive through their link to celebrity, exclusivity, and luxury.
Revell's elegant minimalist photographs are inspired by the Bauhaus movement and the aesthetic of the 1950s Hollywood film genre. They are sophisticated, obsessively detailed, and lit in his trademark monochromatic style, making these compositions distinctive, sumptuous, and collectible.
The curation of the collection continues, room by room, piece by piece, discovering design icons that are embedded in our zeitgeist, that reflect the "spirit of the time" in which they were created.
Iconica Editions images are made for enthusiasts of design, art, photography, and interiors, available in limited editions of 100, each order supplied in a luxury white presentation box.
